Until now the language links sat in the corner of the window, outside the sign-in card, as plain underlined links. People signing in for the first time did not always notice them, and they did not look like part of the screen.
The choice between Hebrew, Russian and English now sits at the top of the card itself, as small buttons styled the same way as on the Lidin website. Each language is named in its own language, so someone who cannot read the current one still finds theirs. The language the screen is shown in is marked with a tint.
The choice appears on every screen before sign-in: the sign-in itself, the code step, the passkey step, and the password reset request and form. Once you are signed in it goes away, as before.
- Every language button has a short hint on hover or keyboard focus, written in that button's own language.
- From the keyboard the languages are the first stop in the card, before the rest of the sign-in.
- The button is small on screen, but its tap area is large enough for a finger on a phone.
A day later the hint was fixed too: on a phone, and with the page or the text enlarged, it stays inside the card instead of running off the screen.
