At the end of the working day the calendar opens on the next working day
When no free hour is left today or the office is closed, the day view opens on the next working day. A meeting that has not ended keeps the calendar on today.
The calendar's day view always opened on today. In the evening, or on a day the office is closed, that meant a grid of hours that had already passed: no meeting can be booked on them, and anyone who came in to set up a new meeting first had to move to the next day.
Now, when there is no free hour left for a meeting today, or the office is closed today, the calendar opens on the next working day according to the office's working hours. If the office is closed tomorrow, the calendar skips it. The first free hour of that day is already selected, so one click or one key opens a meeting on it.
A meeting that has not ended keeps the calendar on today. If you still have a meeting at the end of the day, or one is running right now, the calendar does not jump to tomorrow: today stays in front of you because of that meeting. Only meetings you can see in the calendar count, and a cancelled one does not.
- The weekly view has not changed: it opens on the current week.
- Opening the calendar on a specific date shows that date, even if it has passed.
- Going back to today is still one click away.
