A new lead appears in the list by itself
The lead list checks the server every 15 seconds; a new lead lands in the list without a reload, a “new” counter sits above the table, and new rows are briefly highlighted.
Whoever keeps the lead list open used to learn about a new lead only after reloading the page. Now the list checks the server on its own — roughly every 15 seconds — and a new lead takes its place in the table without a reload, with the same filters and at the same position in the list.
A “new” counter has appeared above the table: it counts leads that arrived after the page was opened, and only those visible in the current selection. The counter is text, not colour — a screen reader announces it too. Clicking the counter resets it without touching the filters or the list position.
New rows are softly highlighted for a few seconds so the eye can find them in the table. The highlight is a hint, not the only signal: even after it fades, the counter still shows the number.
What stays as it was: only the list table is polled — the lead card behaves as before, and polling creates no entries in the access log.
