The inquiry list: a preview on click

Clicking a row opens a side panel with the whole progress of a case without leaving the list, and a new column shows the latest entry for every inquiry.

To find out what was said in the last conversation you had to open the record and then come back — and on the way back you lost your place in the list, your filter and the thought you went there with. An office working in a spreadsheet is used to seeing what was written about a client in the same row it is looking at, and expects the same from a system.

The list now has a Latest entry column: date, channel, who wrote it and the beginning of the text. The full text opens on hover and on keyboard focus, and an inquiry with no entries says so in words instead of sitting empty. A document added to the case does not count as the latest entry — otherwise a certificate received would look like the last thing the office did about the inquiry.

Clicking the name or the last record opens a side panel (the status tag, the phone and the source do not open it — they have actions of their own); in Hebrew it comes in from the left, and the list stays behind it exactly as it was:

An entry written from the panel takes its author and time from the system and does not move the funnel. Amounts and advertising data are not in the panel at all, and an entry is corrected in the full record — where the whole history is visible, not only the part that opened from the row.

The phone number moved to a second line under the name, and contacting stayed in separate buttons in the row; a number you cannot call is not shown as though you could. Chips with counters stand at the start of the filter bar: Today is a toggle that keeps inquiries due today and overdue ones, and a second press clears it; Overdue is a link to the overdue list, and it goes dim when there are none. A row can be opened from the keyboard too, with no mouse.
