A WhatsApp message straight from the card
The WhatsApp button on the card now opens a small window: pick a template, see the ready text with the name and topic in place, then open the chat.
The “WhatsApp” button has been on the lead card for a long time, but it opened an empty chat: the first message had to be written from scratch every time, and it came out differently with every member of staff. Now the button opens a small window where you pick a template from the “Settings → Message templates” screen that appeared last week.
The text is shown ready: the name of the person and the topic are already in place, and the wording comes in the language the lead is handled in. “Open WhatsApp” opens the chat with that message already inside, and all that is left is to press send in WhatsApp itself.
At the same moment a “WhatsApp” entry appears in the chronicle of the lead, with the name of the template that was used. You can see when the client was written to and with which text, without noting it by hand. The message itself is not written into the log.
- The language follows the language line of the lead: if the lead is handled in Russian, the Russian wording is offered.
- While the office has no templates, the button opens the chat as before.
- The action is available on a computer and on a phone, from the action bar at the bottom of the card.
The wordings stay with the office: they are edited once on the templates screen, not in every card separately.
